OPL’s (Outriders Private Limited) Policy for Health and Safety is not merely to become complaint of Health & Safety laws but it emanates from our determination to protect human life, health and to keep them safe from work place related injurious. Following are our Parameters in this regard.

Consultation with Employees:

  We constantly consult our resources to have their day to day experiences regarding safety risks and injurious.

Training & Information:

  Training and Information to our resources and clients, staff is vital part. The way of training and imparting information we can mitigate risks involved. Presentation of risks, use of First Aid and immediate intimation/reporting of such incidents is essential.

First Aid, Accidents &Ill Health:

  First Aid boxes are to be placed and ensured their materials replenishment at all our sites. Easy access of all relevant staff to first Aid Box is made. Display of Health, safety, Working posters like work in progress.

-Caution- wet Floor etc.

-Immediate shifting to Hospitals all serious accident injured.

Insurance of Staff:

  All relevant resources are insured (Group Life Insurance) Covering life and injury insurance against all work related life and health related threats. As a Policy matter, stated Life Insurance Corporate of Pakistan has been taken on panel for all such Insurance Policies.

Slips and Trips:

  It is the single most common cause of major injuries in workplaces. We ensure that our staff and anyone else who could be affected by our work are kept safe from harm. Following are reasonable steps to prevent damages:

-Not to left damp & Slippery floors.

-Care of trailing wires from Vacuum or buffing machines.

-Good management system to identify problem areas, suggest and act preven

tations.

-Effective training and supervisions of all relevant staff.

Regular and effective training with good quality materials to remove contaminations and to reduce accidents.

Use of correct and right cleaning product, well maintained equipment, dry mop etc.

Work at height:

  There are many examples within the Industry of accidents involving working at height i.e. working on stepladder, over-standing from ladders whitest window cleaning or most importantly doing work on outer glasses of building. We mitigate risk by doing so.

-Work at height is properly planned & organized.

-Involving workers are competent.

-Risks identified and appropriate.

-Equipments and gadgets are used.

-Safety helmets are provided and used.

-Equipments are properly inspected and maintained

Work related contact dermatitis:

  It is our policy to protect all relevant staff from work related dermatitis by adopting following measures.

Avoid contact with chemical products, food and worked where possible.

Protect skin of workers by providing them gloves, long shirts etc.

Time to time examination of staff’s skin to keep them healthy.

Environmental Policy

  Our environmental policy is to take actions deliberately to manage our resources,

activities and to provide services with a view to prevent reduce or mitigate harmful effect on nature and natural resources and ensuring that all our activities are made in such a way that they do not have harmful effects on humans both our resources and those who are present in that specific environment.

In this regard we have grasped National Environmental Policy 2005 issued by Ministry of Environment, Government of Pakistan.

OPL (Outriders Private Limited) is a fully compliant of National Environment Protection Policy with the determination to protect ecosystem, natural resources and human life and health as under:

Our Policy aims to protect, conserve and restore at workplace and around with the determination to improve the quality of life of the relevant citizens and also to protect & maintain environment standards set by our client.

Waste Management:

  Janitorial and cleanliness services being few of our business areas, we emphasize on proper waste management to eliminate its harmful effects on human and animal life. We undertake following measures in this regard

            Enforcing the National Environment Quality Standards and Monitoring/Reporting System.

              Introducing discharge system for the industry.

           Grasping sanitation Policy of the Government and the Clients.

           Deriving of mechanism to dump/destroy expired or residual chemical.

           Enforcing local rules and regulations for proper management of all type of wastes.

           Adopting pre-cautions to reduce the risks of contamination on ground and underground waste and other food storages.

           Deriving of mechanism in consultation with the clients to dump waste materials to mitigate the risks.

Air Quality &Noise:

Clean and good quality air-quality and noise reduction at workplace is a part of our Environmental Protection Policy. In order to achieve this goal, we:

-         Use good quality machines & equipments.

-         Staff is trained to localize the effects of cleanliness exercise by not allowing the dust to expound in other areas.

-         Tools and machines causing noise pollution are replaced with new ones.

-         Staff is provided masks and gloves to protect them from harms of such exercise.

-         Ensure the reduction and control of harmful emissions.

Capacity Development:

  Capacity development of both our organization & organizational resources on one hand, and the clients  on the other hand is our environmental protection priority:

-         Short term programs are to be designed and implemented after  training needs assessment.

-         Flows in our own systems and those of our clients regarding capacity development for environmental protection are identified and are to be eliminated.

Awareness & Education: 

  Our aim in this regard is to create awareness among our resources both in back offices and on sites and sense of responsibility to environment and clean atmosphere. All such resources are trained formally and informally in this regard. These awareness campaigns are made with and for the clients’ resources also for integration of efforts.

Implementation & Monitoring:

  No policy on papers can be ideal unless and until it is implemented in letter and spirit. We have made it our aim to implement our policy whole-heartedly.

No implementation of policies can be made properly without proper monitoring system. We have developed multi-layer monitoring system to fully implement all our relevant policies to the satisfaction of our clients.

Quality Assurance Policy

  Implementation of a detailed quality control management is the first vital step in achieving OPL goals. It involves management , staff and clients’ relevant persons at all levels to monitor and communicate. We have a good quality management system intact to satisfy the client needs, staff satisfaction and above all to achieve the company’s goals. Our quality assurance/ control system is based on the following:

-         We extend training to our employees to be deployed on various sites both before and after deployment.

-         We ensure multi-layer quality inspections. Site supervisors inspect on daily basis while inspection from branch offices/head office is made weekly/randomly.

-         We ensure sufficient quality of materials is issued by our stores to site offices on regular footings.

-         Good quality materials are not only provided on sites but ensured to maintain inventory of sufficient quantity and good quality materials.

-         We ensure availability of ready and easy to use equipments on sites.

-         We ensure availability of committed staff with observance of punctuality. Alternate and substitutes are always kept as contingency planning.

-         Preventative and corrective action progress are introduced to ensure quality control.

-         Key performance indicators are developed for each site and each resource to gauge the quality and quantity of work.

Last but not least is the reward and recognition program to encourage resources  for optimum utilization of their capacities.
